The Brazilian Journal of Soil Science (RBCS) has extended, until February 28, 2025, an induced call for articles for an edition that aims to present the state of the art of research on Archaeoanthrosols, Urban Soils, Technosols and all variants of anthropogenic soils, with an emphasis on tropical and subtropical Latin American regions.
We welcome submissions from all researchers working in the field of anthropogenic soils, in all its different forms. With this initiative, the RBCS aims to reveal a wealth of current information on these important soils, which are not yet included in the Brazilian Soil Classification System (SiBCS), in an order that can systematize their classification framework in Brazil.
Up to 15 articles will be published, including: review articles, research articles and scientific notes.
The articles should highlight the contribution to cutting-edge research on Archaeoanthrosols, Urban Soils, Technosols and all variants of anthropogenic soils, with an emphasis on the tropics and subtropics of Latin America.
