The XXXIX Brazilian Congress of Soil Science brought together nearly 1,000 participants, being one of the largest national meetings in the field.
The event featured a diversified scientific program, which included 816 posters, 45 oral presentations, 8 keynote lectures (conferences), 15 workshops, 32 round tables, 7 short courses, and the First Brazilian Soil Classification Competition, held in partnership with the CBCS.
During the congress, researchers, students, and professionals from the public and private sectors had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss methodological innovations, and carry out extensive networking.
Important awards and honors were presented, such as the Antônio Carlos Moniz Medal of Merit in Soil Science, the Honorary Member title, and the Amazon Award in Soil Science.
The final outcome of the event reinforces a vibrant scientific community, with expanded networking, strengthened partnerships, and renewed research agendas, reaffirming the commitment to soil quality, food security, and the sustainability of production systems in Brazil.
